FAQ — 99 Cats Cat Sitting

Question 1

What's included in every visit?

Accepted Answer

Every visit includes fresh food and water, cuddles and playtime, a photo or video update sent to you, and litter tray cleaning. Visits last between 15 and 30 minutes depending on your cat's needs.

Question 2

How long does each visit last?

Accepted Answer

Each visit lasts between 15 and 30 minutes. This gives plenty of time for feeding, litter tray cleaning, play, and a cuddle — plus a photo or video update so you can see how your cat is getting on.

Question 3

Do you offer overnight stays?

Accepted Answer

No — 99 Cats is a visiting service only. I come to your home either once or twice a day, so your cat gets to stay in their own familiar environment, which is much less stressful than being moved to a new place.

Question 4

Do you charge more on bank holidays?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Bank holiday rates are £20 for one visit per day and £30 for two visits per day. Standard rates apply on all other days.

Question 5

Is there a fee for late bookings?

Accepted Answer

Yes — a £10 late booking fee applies if you book within 24 hours of the first visit. This helps me make sure I can always give your cat the attention they deserve.

Question 6

What is your cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

If you cancel with less than 48 hours' notice, a 10% cancellation fee applies. If you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, a 50% fee applies. I understand plans change — please just let me know as soon as possible.

Question 7

How does key collection work?

Accepted Answer

Key collection is free. We'll arrange a convenient time before your first booking for me to collect a key. I keep it securely and return it whenever you need.

Question 8

Can you take care of other things in the house?

Accepted Answer

Yes — watering plants, feeding fish, and other reasonable household tasks are included at no extra charge. Just let me know what you need when you book.

Question 9

What happens if my cat needs a vet visit?

Accepted Answer

In a genuine emergency I will take your cat to the vet immediately and contact you straight away. For scheduled vet visits (non-emergency), there is a £15 charge. Please make sure your vet details and any consent arrangements are confirmed before your sitting period begins.

Question 10

Can you administer injectable medications?

Accepted Answer

Injectable medications can be arranged on a case-by-case basis. Please get in touch before booking so we can discuss your cat's needs and make sure I'm the right fit.
